Ad nauseam

I read a comment of the continuous stream of news of the Saab saga. One person used the term Ad nauseam. I had never heard the term so I looked it up. It is a Latin term as you might expect and is used to describe an argument which has been continuing “to the point of nausea”.
Argumentum ad nauseam or argument from repetition or argumentum ad infinitum is an argument made repeatedly (possibly by different people) until nobody cares to discuss it any more. This may sometimes, but not always, be a form of proof by assertion”.

I will paraphrase dan brown on SNL when he talks about his books, “this post has a lot of good words”.
