We did a redesign of our company site www.petfactory.se a few weeks back. I usually don´t like when people claim with a strong voice and total certainty that some technology is doomed. I doubt certainty. But I really like my iPhone and my iPad and to use flash for a site seems too excluding to be a good idea. So our new site is made up of php, xml regular old html and some ducktape. I really like the result. I wanted a site that would work in a browser but more important would give the user a nice mobile experience. That to me means trying to avoid small buttons to click and a tall vertical scrolling site. My first idea was actually to use wordpress as a cms for the site, and we started to write a theme, but then we realized ( thanks to our coder johno :) ) that it would be simpler to just code a small php, xml solution. I will look into some cms solutions, but that will have to wait.

Web aside, I still like as3, and enjoy using it for interactive graphics. I have tried processing, although it was some time ago, but it was no way near as powerful as as3. I am a big fan of Lee Brimelow and follow his blog www.gotoandlearn.com with great interest. The most interesting thing with as3 is the performance increase in iOS devices and the integration of 3d engines.
